Warmest Winter Ever

The Warmest Winter Ever is a clothing service we offer to our homeless community. We host an annual kickoff event in which the homeless population is able to receive a meal catered by a local restaurant while selecting coats, clothing, and other items that they may need, including blankets and hygiene products. Following this event, throughout the winter season, remaining items are available on a walk-in basis at our location on County St.

Feeding The Homeless

Every 3rd week of the month we go out into the city of Portsmouth to feed our homeless community. We spend time talking with them and when the weather permits, we bring our yoga mats to assist with relieving stress and allowing for moments of peace within the chaos.

Community Trunk or Treat on County Street

This event provides a safe place for children and their families to come out dressed in their Halloween attire and visit creatively designed trunks filled with treats. Dinner is also provided for those in attendance.

A Day of Connection: Annual Event

This is our annual celebration of community impact and connection. It is a joint partnership with our sister organization, Connecting Communities, LLC. We know that without the individuals we serve, fellow service providers, and community activists, we could not make a difference, so this event allows us the opportunity to celebrate continuous connectivity and growth.

A Place at the Table

We provide Thanksgiving dinner for the homeless population and those in need at our Portsmouth office location. This initiative is needed more than ever as there are many people in our region who go without food daily. The holidays prove to be a stressful time for many and our hope is to alleviate one portion of this stress. The holidays often serve as a reminder of what may not exist for some—a home in which to celebrate, cook, decorate, and rejoice. Loss, loneliness, and shame are powerful triggers during this time and we want to help minimize those thoughts, even if just for a day. We hope to provide the opportunity to focus on what does exist, a hot meal shared among a community built upon genuine care and concern for one another.
